Happy 33, Ree!

Kerri's 33rd birthday started with waffles and fresh strawberries for breakfast. Unfortunately, the day was a little bit crazy and some of the plans didn't go as well as we'd hoped. Still, she enjoyed a facial in the afternoon and was patient with a quick local flight I had to make with my boss a bit later.

I asked Caitlyn to watch the kids in the evening, so we could go to dinner and a movie. We went to Cafe Trio, only to discover they had changed their menu, and Ree's long-dreamed-of pork chops were no longer on the menu. Boo! Also, dinner took so long that we missed our movie time. Instead, we went back home, dropped Caitlyn off and got to the present opening.

Ree asked for some hand weights so she could do some of her exercise routines with some resistance. Rory and Danyn checked them out to make sure they were ok.
I guess they passed the ever-challenging 4 and 7 year old test. Finn also helped Mom unwrap some books Ree had asked for. He's always happy to help.
We love you very much, Ree! Even though everything didn't work out perfectly, we hope you still had a great day. You work so hard for all of us, and we're glad you are in our lives. It's great to celebrate YOU!
