Sick Day

Danyn stayed home from school the other day, with a hacking cough that hadn't eased up enough for her to be around her classmates. Other than that, she seemed to be in good spirits, and Finn particularly enjoyed having his big sister around. They spent the day together, in various pursuits of entertainment.

First, they read. I love how patient Finn looks, as he listens to the story. Then they cuddled.

They napped.

They played.

 

And they wrestled.

 It was honestly quite sweet to see these two buddied up for the day. A rare treat for Finn, as all of his sisters go to school now. Dany is good to him, too; she has the patience to really take time with him.

It does my mother-heart good.
