Biker Chicks

Last year for her birthday, we bought Dany a new bike with training wheels. She diligently worked at it all summer, learning how to pedal and brake and gaining more control. This year, especially when seeing a friend of hers do it, she decided she wanted to be training wheel-free. Again, she was very determined and pestered Teag constantly until he took her out to practice. Within two days, we had some major success!

By the end of the second day, she could even get started by herself, and was working on turning corners. It was great to see the pride and excitement all over her face.

After watching big sister have so much fun, Rory wanted to get in on the game.

She insisted on the helmet, knowing how dangerous it can be when she's traveling up to 0.00001 miles an hour :). We're so proud of Dany and her determination! She took a few nasty falls but didn't let that stop her a bit. She's a tough one!
