Maisie Turns Nine

Maisie celebrated her 9th birthday in January as well. After all the craziness of last year, we kept it pretty low key, and celebrated with just our family. Maisie has really enjoyed her Harry Potter Lego's, and as they are soon-to-be-discontinued, she asked for one of the replicas of Hogwarts castle as her present. The second she opened it, all she wanted to do was begin putting it together.

 She also got some Kidz Bop CD's she'd asked for, though it pained me to do it :).

She got a cute purple dress and a book she'd read and liked from Grandma and Grandpa Rogers as well.

Then we had Maisie's requested chocolate cake with whip cream and strawberries.

Happy Birthday Maisie! We love you and hope #9 is as great for you as eight was!
