Quick Property Trip

Teag had a couple of flying trips that bookended the 24th of July, a time we typically head up to the property, but we squeezed in a quick, overnight trip anyway. We headed up there on the 23rd, and besides my parents and Brad and Sara, we were the only ones there. That meant my kids were on their own to entertain themselves.
Reading in the great outdoors
Swinging
Pirate Papoose (argh!)
The girls were also really excited to sleep in the loft in the shed. Teag and I were doubly excited for that, as it meant less moaning and potty emergencies and screaming of "I can't find my pillow!" at 4 am.
Rory ended up wanting to sleep in the trailer after about 30 minutes though, so it was short-lived. Finn wanted to sleep on one of the other bunk-beds, but we figured it was better to avoid head injuries and keep him with us.
The kids played hard in their 36 hour allotment, and by the time we were driving home Wednesday night, they were exhausted. Rory fell asleep before we'd even made it out of Spanish Fork Canyon.
Most uncomfortable sleep position ever
She shifted around quite a bit in her sleep, and even started using Maisie as a pillow.
Maisie was very patient with her, which was nice. As we drove out of the canyon, we saw the giant windmills all lit up by the sunset.
It was a beautiful ending to our fun little trip.

Next up, the Bayly's check out the Property!
