Another Snowy Hike!

Because we like hiking, and because we're gluttons for punishment, we decided to attempt the hike up to Donut Falls again! We're nothing if not persistent. This time the sun was shining, which was a vast improvement over the last time around. It was, however, still very snowy, so boots were still very necessary. We left on Friday right after I got back from my morning classes, which meant we were smack dab in the middle of lunch time. As such, we packed some sandwiches and snacks to eat along the way. Or, if you're Finn, to eat on top of dad.

Teag has the patience of Job. The Donut Falls trails isn't marked all that well, or maybe the snow covered up all the markers and we weren't always entirely sure we were on the right track, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the journey!

And even though we actually made it to Donut Falls, it was all iced over and rather an underwhelming conclusion to the hike. But we made up for it by buying some Banbury Cross donuts for dessert. Totally worth it!

Finny found himself tuckered out by the end and took a little snooze on the drive home.

Maybe one day we'll actually make it to Donut Falls and see the Falls!
