Our Spring Break week came to an end with our traditional egg coloring and hunt. The littler kid had some pretty cool eggs with some new dyes this year. Rory used some dyes that made her eggs have a metallic shine.
The older kids did Pysanky again, testing their skills and the adults patience around open flame.
Then it was time for lunch and the hunt. Kev and Meg's backyard is the best for egg hunting; they've got all kinds of nooks and crannies to stash goodies.
Some of the grandkids are getting old now, but we still make them work for their baskets, and take pictures with all the rest of the brood.
We couldn't have asked for better weather this year, and it was lovely to spend some good family time outdoors.
