Finny Fourth!

Our little Finny turned 4 right at the beginning of June. He had so much fun at Boondocks when we went over Spring Break, that he decided that was his birthday activity of choice. We headed there as a family right after school, where we got in plenty of laser tag, arcade games, and even some air hockey.

Our living room wasn't quite put together yet, so we had his cake and ice cream downstairs that night. Finn has been on a real Star Wars kick lately, and pretty much every present he got some somehow Star Wars related.

He was especially pleased to get his "Light Stabers", and immediately went into battle mode.

He paused long enough to blow out the candles on his birthday cake before he was right back to it.

Our little Finny is growing in so many different ways. He was a pretty impressive vocabulary, and even though he's starting to get a bit of attitude, hasn't lost his innate sweetness. I think he's going to be quite a charmer of the ladies as he gets older too, and he's already asking me things like, "Why do girls like romance?" He's added so much to our family, with his very boyish dynamic, and his love of all things manly. We love our Finny, and can't wait to see what this next year brings!
